In this challenge (overdue), you will see how Janine and I really differs from each other. She's the total opposite of me in so many ways. But to be fair, instead of telling you some random things about me (which is my initial intention), I opted to do the same thing Janine did-to answer this "WHO AM I" thingy! ^_^ I learned this during our retreat..Ü

What's My Name?

I rarely introduce myself in public. 


Why? 


Because I don't like my name that much. But alas! I'm in this freaking challenge. So what else can I do? Poor me. Really. Really. Really. 
Whatever. I've said too much already but will surely end up telling you my name anyway. ^_^

It's Flora Mae. Gosh. I hate saying it. ^_^ The only consolation I can have with my name is it's history. My parents named me "FLORA" after the goddess of flowers and spring. And "MAE" in exchange of MAY. Over all, it means, the "flower of may", cute, isn't it? duh..Ü

As you can see, in the photo, I'm petite but I'm good with it. It makes me young somehow. Although, at times, it becomes my inferior. Note-at times. That's a good thing, I believe. ^_^

Apparently, like Janine, there's something we have in common. We don't put make ups. I mean, we do, only if it's mandatory (e.i. OJT, party's, or like before, there's this one class that do not let us enter without make-ups on)..Ü

What I have..

I already have everything I need, despite not having everything I want. I grew up living a pretty simple life. No television, no computers, no cellphones or anything for leisure. But the fact that we never experience scarcity in terms of food, shelter and clothing is quite enough already. 

What I do.. 

(or you wanna know my daily routine too? haha)

I'm a student. Yeah, yeah. My friend "Sherry" told me I should be proud of it. Not all people can have that privileged. So, she said, I should feel lucky and not be ashamed even if I think that I'm too old to be in college. ^_^ 

What people say about me..

This is the easiest one. A lot of people don't find me cool (esp. to those people who knows nothing about me). They have this impression that I'm snob and aloof which is true at all times. Of course, I seldom talk to strangers. Cute strangers that caught my eye and attention is an exception. I don't smile too often and I'm really mean. They said I'm maldita, maarte and mataray. But for my friends, I'm all of those above, though, some good qualities are being highlighted. They said I'm cute, funny, smart, pretty (lol), friendly, talkative, demanding, impatient, careless, sweet and one hell of a bitch =))

those are just few of the many impressions of me by others.

I like watching movies and series . I like blogging. I like facebook. I like netsurfing. I like music. I like chocolates and cookies. I like travelling. I like shopping. I like eating. I like singing. I like dancing. I love boys. I like my friends. I like my family. above all, I like ME. ^_^

Dislikes..

I dislike my haters..(haha..Go to hell) ^_^ I dislike studying. I dislike waking up early in the morning and do nothing. I dislike going to school early only to find out that our instructor is absent or late. I dislike school and a lot of things. I dislikes SNAKES, they creep me out. I dislike people who're too nice or too good to be true. Like duh? C'mon, there must be something wrong with you!

Who I love

I love everything I like =)) they make me happy. sad. cry. laugh. smile..they make me feel unwanted and love at the same time. they're the very reason why I still keep on going. they make me feel alive. they made me who I am today..Ü

We are down to our last day of photo challenge. This last challenge is quite very personal since we will be talking (certainly) about ourselves here. So, as a respect. I decided to give this day (page) to Janine as she shares her last photo challenge with you guys. ^_^ I hope you don't mind? :D..oh! yesterday was a blast..will share the fun in time =))

JANINE says..

Hi there pips! I've been sharing photos with you these past few days and sadly this would be the last photo challenge. Happy to say that this is all about me. Nothing but me. :D 

Okay, first thing. I’m Janine April Navarro Neri. (in case you want to know my whole name).  I’m currently taking up BS HRM and I’m now in my forth year. WEE! Atlast! Uhm, I'm 21 years old and don’t forget my birthday which is every 23rd of April. Yes, I’m a Taurian. 

How I look?

Physically, I have a straight black hair, big brown eyes, fair complexion, skinny, and 5’3” tall. As you can see in my pictures, I just wear simple clothes. I’m fond of wearing pants, cute shirts, blouses, doll shoes, and flat sandals. I’m really not that kikay. I don’t even wear make-ups everyday.  I just wear accessories that will complete my usual outfits.  As much as I wanted to look “so lady” like wearing high-healed shoes, skirts, and dresses, I end up wearing ordinary clothes because I’m more comfortable with those.  When it comes to my hair, I just leave it down most of the time and tied it up or putting it in a pony tail sometimes. There, I’m just simple as that. :D

What I have

I only have enough of what I need to enjoy my life. I mean, I’m studying at a decent school, I have enough clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, I have enough money to buy things or foods I want, I have things that I don’t really need, I have my family with me, I have my friends, and I have good health.   I don’t have much, neither less. Just enough to be thankful and feel grateful in my life.

What I do?

Everyday is like a routine to me.  It’s really boring and “nakakasawa”. I go to school every weekdays. After school, I go home and do some household chores. (no choice but to do these things). During my spare time or usually every night, I am always in front of the laptop browsing on my favourite websites such as facebook, youtube, yahoo, and twitter or just watch movies and television programs. If there’s really nothing to do or whenever I am bored, I lay down on our couch or bed, read books or magazines until I will fall asleep. HAHA! See? What a simple, laid-back, and boring life I have!  :D

What people say about me..

Uhm,I really don’t know, oddly enough. But most people describe me as being quiet and nice. :D and they’re right.  I’m really a quiet type of person. I don’t talk that much. I’m more of the listener. I’m not used to share details about my life to others unless they would ask. So if you won’t ask, then you wouldn’t know anything about me. :D I really consider my life as private. HAHA! Uhm, and in that way, if someone’s asking about my life or anything about me, that just means that he/she is interested in me. :D Ganyan lang ka simple. 
I’m nice because I don’t know. It’s just me. Some says that people see you as weak if you're too nice and they treat you like crap and take advantage of you. But I never experience that. People are nice to me that iss why I’m also nice to them. Fair enough. But for those people who don’t like me then that’s their problem. I don’t mind. (I’m sure there are, we really can’t please everybody, ryt?) I’m just nice but I’m not that good.

What I like and dislike..

Dislikes:

• Waking up early in the morning.
• Being sick or having colds.
• When you finally fall asleep, and someone wakes you up just to ask something. My gosh! 
• I don’t like veggies and Mayonnaise. 
• I hate cockroaches. 
• A Guy who has no ambition and lacks direction in life, thinks he’s the man, and knows nothing but kalokohan. 
• Waiting for hours especially when that someone didn't even care to inform me through text, message, or call that he/she would be late.  
• I really don’t like those people who are really trying their best just to get the attention of everyone. Mga papansin kumbaga. Ughh, they are so irritating. Also, insensitive people.
• I don’t like crowd. I don’t like attending festivals or wat-so-ever especially the feeling of uncomfortable when I’m being too close to strangers who have not showered for two or three days. (MEAN I know, haha) Just like when I first witnessed the Sinulog festival in Cebu City. Grabe, siksikan! Anu ba yun?! 
• Broken promises.
• Confusion. Not being able to understand anything, even yourself and your own feelings

Likes:

• Babies and kids!
• Traveling.
• Cheese curls, chocolates, chuckie, coca cola, lasagna, mango ice cream, pizza and many more!! :D
• Sleeping
• Dining out with family and going out with friends.
• Reading, movies, malling, shopping!
• Christmas!
• Being up late at night.
• Listening to music.
• Laughing!
• When it’s raining when I’m at home.
• Dogs and puppies
• Cuddling/ being hug. HUGS!
• The feeling when I received letters.

A guy who is taller than me, has a cute sense of humor, funny yet serious, has the average body- not buff, not skinny, who knows a lot of things- a street smart, sensible, has a good and distinct smell, decent and showers me attention. LOL. Hahaha!

The feeling when something happens more that what I’ve expected.

Who I love..

My family, of course. I feel secured when I’m with them. Both of my parents did pretty much everything for us, helped me with school work (when I’m in my elem and high school days), made sure i was fine, basically devoted their life to being sure me and my siblings were fine. I feel so happy when we dine out together because that’s only the time that we bond and talk about things.  I may not too expressive when it comes to showing my affection to them but really, I love them so much and I don’t want to see them hurt.

I also love my friends! They are one of the reasons why I’m enjoying my life now. They always make me happy and laugh whenever I’m with them.  There’s really no dull moments when they are around. Most of my friends are really opposite to my personality but still we get along well.  You see, they are random, crazy, funny, loud, rough, freaking wild and awesome! How amazing isn’t it? :D

Same, my family and friends of course.  And yeah, I love myself too! Love your own. Hahaha!  And God. I know and I believe that God loves me. Other than these, I don’t know if there’s still someone/ people out there who loves me. :D

I am out today (usually, I don't go out on a Sunday but today I made an exemption).  I'm off to DAHILAYAN ADVENTURE PARK..I've been there late last year with Janine, her dad and her xbf and I'm telling you. The place is awesome O_O, check out our photo =))

Oh! well, well, well..tom is another day to look forward to. Why? Because it's the last day of our photo challenge..Ü Hooray! just another one more day =))

Ms. T was our English teacher way back last year. She's a little complicated. She annoyed me. Yet, she fascinate me in a funny way. Fine! I find her funny. really! ^_^

Anyway, if I remembered it correctly, she would enter our class with all purple outfit..^_^ which I really find so funny because even her lipstick is colored-purple. really! (again) 

The truth is, I wanna sneak a shot on her around the campus and upload her pic online but that would make me feel villain. ^_^ So instead..

Gladys and Esthel's purple shoes. Actually, one of them saw the shoes first in the mal and both of them liked and immediately fell inlove with its color. None of them wanted to give way for the other so they decided to buy the same color of shoes. Cutie. :D

On the other hand, mine is a little bit different because I have a photo of us, me and Princess who's wearing purple blouse today and a cutie Christmas tree I noticed when I pass by at National bookstore :))

cute isn't it? hahahaha! gosh. I'm just kidding! ^_^By the way, with me is Princess. And on the side is the cutie purple Christmas tree that tells me "buy me please" haha!

 My Sister’s Girbaud Bag. 

My gosh. I fell inlove with this bag and wanted to own this. I've considered to buy one for my own but when I went to the store where she bought this, “it was out of stock”. I was so disappointed. I was even ready to spend my savings for this expensive bag. Whoa! SAYANG! So now, I’m just waiting for the chance/ time that she would’nt use this or beg/ask her if I can borrow this. Again, I’m just so lucky that I have a “not-so-good” sister who lets me borrow her things. HAHA.

Finally! Dexter Morgan ^_^ my favorite serial killer ^_^ is back..Ü The first episode of season 6 was quite funny and a little exciting. Whoa. I'm so excited to know more about that very interesting killer or should I say killers? whose pattern is way too impressive compared to Dexter's and Trinity. I was astonished to see snakes coming out from that fruit vendor's dead body. Anyway, moving on..


I love this post. ^_^ I chose not to present the list of items I bought (for souvenirs) during our trip in Cebu, Manila, Bohol and Davao because there I wanted to show off these lovely souvenirs given to me by Janine and John Paul that I really really love and I wish to wear them someday..^_^

Yes. Scarfs. ^_^ The black one was given to me by Janine when she went to Baguio last July I guess? ^_^The pink one was given to me by John Paul, he bought it when he went to Thailand. I can't remember when..I think it was last summer? I'm not sure. ^_^
